Gatchina, June 3 — Avia.pro. Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko announced the official end to the drone alert on the morning of June 3. A large-scale air attack by Ukrainian forces on the region lasted for nearly six hours.
According to official data from the regional governor, air defense forces destroyed 59 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the region during a protracted air battle. In the Luzhsky District, fragments from a downed aircraft-type drone caused minor damage to four private homes. According to preliminary information from emergency and operational agencies, no civilian casualties or damage to infrastructure were reported in other districts of the Leningrad Region. During the air raid alert, mobile internet speeds were temporarily reduced in the region.
Air defense, radar monitoring, and electronic warfare units of the Western Military District continue to maintain enhanced alert around the clock. Emergency services are surveying the debris fields to fully address the aftermath of the nighttime air raid repulse operation.
