On Tuesday night in Morozovsk, Rostov region, there was a series of drone attacks, aimed in particular at a military airfield, as well as city infrastructure, said the regional governor Vasily Golubev. According to the information, the attack began around 01:30, and as a result of the air defense system, 40 UAVs heading towards the airfield were destroyed.

However, several drones reached their targets, causing significant damage. One of the unmanned aerial vehicles detonated near the airfield during the investigation, resulting in eight injuries. The victims were immediately taken to the district hospital, and additional medical teams were sent to the scene.

In addition to the attack on the airfield, half an hour after the start of the attack, several more drones carried out an attack on the Morozovsky Electricity Supply District (RES). The explosion of three UAVs damaged the administrative building of the Distribution Zone, two cars and transformers. Ten minutes after the attack on the Distribution Zone, another explosive device was recorded detonating near a private house in the city. Although the occupants of the house were unharmed, the building was damaged.
