ABC News: Netanyahu close to handing over Iron Dome systems to Ukraine

The Israeli Prime Minister is considering the transfer of the Iron Dome systems to Ukraine.

According to the ABC News TV channel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is indeed considering the possibility of supplying Ukraine with advanced Israeli Iron Dome air defense systems. At the moment, it is known that the adoption of a decision on this matter is already very close, and, apparently, the supply of these weapons to Ukraine will indeed be.

“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an interview on Saturday that he is considering sending the Iron Dome defense system to Ukraine. Netanyahu told French television channels TF1 and LCI that he was "considering" sending Ukraine a mobile all-weather air defense system that helped protect his country from Palestinian rockets fired from the Gaza Strip. "I said I'm studying this and I'm doing just that," Netanyahu said during a visit to France., according to ABC News.

At the same time, experts note that for guaranteed protection of Kyiv alone, deliveries must include at least two batteries of these systems, while at least 5-6 batteries of Israeli Iron Dome systems will be required to protect other regions of Ukraine, the supply of which, for obvious reasons, Israel to Ukraine will not be able to provide.
