Vilnius Airport will be closed for reconstruction

Vilnius Airport is preparing for reconstruction.

According to the representatives of the capital airport of Lithuania, the air harbor will not be able to receive, serve and dispatch flights within 35 days - the works connected with the reconstruction of the airport will be conducted during the period from 14 July to 17 August, however, due to this, in the future the air center will become more modern. All flights previously operated in Vilnius will be redirected to Kaunas airport, while the air harbor will operate within its capabilities, as over 35-day period will serve more than 300 thousand passengers.

To date, the capabilities of the Vilnius airport allow us to serve 1,8 million passengers during the year.
