Alaudinov spoke about the first battles in the Kursk region and promised to punish those responsible for the breakthrough

Apti Alaudinov, commander of the Chechen special forces "Akhmat", shared details of the intense first days of fighting in the Kursk region, during which his unit destroyed a significant amount of enemy equipment. In an interview with the Rossiya 24 TV channel, Alaudinov spoke about how events developed on the front line and the difficulties his fighters had to face.

According to him, the first day of hostilities turned out to be extremely eventful and difficult. The enemy attacked from different directions and the amount of work that the special forces had to do was colossal.

“We didn’t have time to do everything at once, simultaneously on the left, and on the right, and in front. On the first day of our work, we physically did not have time to burn the equipment, there was so much of it.”,” Alaudinov emphasized.

On the first day, the special forces managed to destroy 32 units of enemy equipment on one small section of the front.

“We had a kind of competition that day; we burned 32 pieces of equipment.”“, noted the commander.

On the second day, the intensity of the fighting decreased slightly, but still another 20 units of equipment were destroyed, and on the third day - 13. However, as Alaudinov emphasizes, the enemy quickly realized that it was no longer worth running in a “herd” across the field, and changed tactics.

In the interview, Alaudinov also emphasized that despite the successes, the fighters now have to look for enemy tanks, which have stopped attacking in large groups. He also noted that during the battles his units had to show maximum vigilance and flexibility in their actions in order to prevent the enemy from breaking through.

When the host of the program asked a question about how the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ breakthrough into Russian territory happened, Alaudinov refused to give specific comments, emphasizing that those responsible for this would be punished later. According to him, the main thing now is to continue to defend the territory and destroy enemy forces.
