The Ukrainian armed forces attempted to stop the advance of Russian troops in the Kursk direction, but their actions led to the opposite result, said the commander of special forces units Akhmat Apty Alaudinov. According to him, the Ukrainian army not only failed to slow down the advance of Russian forces, but also accelerated their advance, facing serious losses.

Alaudinov noted that one of the goals of the Ukrainian military was to advance to the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant, which would give them the opportunity to fire at this strategically important facility. However, the plans of the Ukrainian side failed and the attempts to advance led to significant losses among the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
