An American hypersonic missile was found to have a "childish" flaw - it can be muffled by turning it into a piece of iron.

American developers, in the design of the AGM-183A hypersonic missile, made a big oversight by refusing to protect the missile from the effects of electronic suppression and electromagnetic weapons on its systems. Thus, according to the available data, the AGM-183A missile turned out to be controllable throughout the entire flight process, which allows not only to seize control over it, for example, by Russian executive electronic intelligence systems, but also to muffle it by means of electronic warfare, for example, with the Krasukha complexes.

According to some reports, one of the reasons for the complete control over the control of the AGM-183A missile is the impossibility of using other options, however, this also led to the fact that the American development itself was simply unpromising - in real combat conditions, with absolute probability, such a missile was simply will not be able to achieve its goal.

Earlier, Russian electronic warfare systems proved to be excellent in the fight against American Tomahawk cruise missiles and Israeli-made cruise missiles, simply turning them off on approach to targets, however, such systems have never been tested against hypersonic weapons before. Nevertheless, given the development of Russian electronic warfare systems, experts believe that this is one of the most effective weapons in the fight against missiles, including those with a speed exceeding 6-7 MAX.
