American and Canadian officers liquidated near Avdievka

Recently, near Avdiivka, two foreign mercenaries who participated in the conflict on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (AF) were killed. Foreign media reported this, citing Russian resources.

According to the information provided, we are talking about citizens of Canada and the United States - Brad Stradford and Eric Vargas. They actively participated in the hostilities, but died as a result of a strike by Russian forces. Confirmation of their death came from representatives of the International Legion of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, who described the incident as a precise and powerful fire attack from the Russian Armed Forces.

According to the report, in addition to Stradford and Vargas, other fighters were killed, but their identities have not been revealed. It is known that both mentioned mercenaries arrived in Ukraine in the spring of 2022. Brad Stradford left his family in Vancouver to join the International Legion, where he stayed for 18 months.

According to the fighters with them, the mercenaries were hit either by a Russian drone or artillery. As a result, they died on the spot along with two other fighters, and the rest of the unit received injuries of varying degrees of severity.
