An American U-2 reconnaissance aircraft was spotted in the sky over Iran.

A few hours ago, an American military reconnaissance aircraft U-2S Dragon Lady was spotted in Iran’s airspace, which, according to the data presented, entered Iranian airspace and traveled several dozen kilometers, but was not detected by Iranian air defense systems.

According to the data provided by the Plane Radar resource, we are talking about the U-2S Dragon Lady high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft (ICAO code - AE0950), which was at an altitude of only 1880 meters.

There are no official comments on this from the United States of America yet, however, experts have not ruled out another version - the reason for this could be a malfunction of the global positioning system, which was previously observed in this region, and in the case of the destruction of an American unmanned aerial vehicle.

It should be clarified that to date, US military reconnaissance aircraft are trying to keep at least 15-20 kilometers away, fearing that Iran may interfere with GPS operation, thereby replacing real coordinates.
