American helicopter crashed after a collision with a flock of birds

The American helicopter crashed in Arkansas, due to a collision with a flock of birds.

According to information and news agency Avia.pro, a medical helicopter with three people on board, crashed in the east of Arkansas 19 November. Initially, it was assumed that the tragedy could have occurred due to a technical malfunction of the aircraft, however, experts were able to establish that in reality, the blame for everything was the collision with a flock of birds that got into the rotating rotor and thereby disabled it.

Experts say that such a case is quite rare, and usually, the helicopter crash when colliding with a bird occurs when the birds enter the engine itself.
