A few hours ago, the US military command in Iraq reported that the US embassy in Baghdad was subjected to another rocket attack. Nevertheless, according to the information provided, an anti-aircraft missile was launched, which supposedly intercepted a fired missile, but in reality, the missile was not hit, but fell on a neighboring building, and then exploded.

"The US Embassy in Baghdad was rocket fired on Sunday night, the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system was used to repel the attack," al-Sumaria TV channel reported, citing a source in the country's security services. "An attempt was made to rocket the US Embassy in the green zone in central Baghdad. The missile was intercepted by the Patriot air defense system, and it fell on a residential building near the embassy," a source said- RIA Novosti cites information.

How did it happen that a downed rocket fell on a building located next to the American embassy and subsequently exploded - the American side does not comment, however, analysts believe that this is another US attempt to mask reality, especially since satellite images indicate that the territory of the American embassy of the Patriot SAM system is absent.
