Argentina plans to transfer 5 Super Étendard attack aircraft to Ukraine

Argentina and France are negotiating the possible transfer to Ukraine of five Dassault-Breguet Super Étendard attack aircraft that participated in the Falklands War. However, these aircraft are in disrepair, which casts doubt on their combat effectiveness and ability to be used in modern conditions.

According to sources, Argentina offered France to repair these aircraft at its own expense, as well as provide new fighters to replace the transferred attack aircraft. The Argentine side hopes that this exchange will allow it to modernize and support its aircraft fleet.

The Super Étendard, manufactured by the French company Dassault-Breguet, is renowned for its effectiveness and has seen service in various conflicts. However, in the current situation, these aircraft may be useless.

Representatives of France have not yet commented on the details of the possible deal.
