Armenia thwarted the first international flight from Crimea

Armenia refused to accept flights from Crimea.

Contrary to the statement by the head of the relevant committee of the Crimean parliament, Alexei Chernyak, that an agreement was reached with Armenia on air traffic, it became known that Yerevan did not intend to take the first flight from Crimea. Thus, the international air traffic from the peninsula turned out to be disrupted, and never started.

“The head of the relevant committee of the Crimean parliament, Alexei Chernyak, said that regular flights between Simferopol and Yerevan will be launched in the spring. According to him, at the moment, the issue is being negotiated. Later in Armenia it was reported that this information was not true and that no negotiations were held with the airlines on this issue. ”- Lenta.ru reports.

On the other hand, days earlier information appeared that air communication with other countries was already being worked out.

“As the head of the Crimean government Yuri Gotsanyuk told RIA Novosti, Simferopol Airport is ready to provide the most comfortable conditions for airlines that want to organize flights to both near and far abroad”, “Telegram”, a community of the Russian news agency, said in a statement.

No official comment was made by Armenia on this subject, which does not allow clarifying the situation.
