Armenia purchased 36 new CAESAR self-propelled artillery systems from France

Over the next 15 months, Armenia will receive 36 of the latest CAESAR self-propelled artillery systems from France. This became known from reports from Armenian sources confirming the conclusion of a contract between the two countries.

CAESAR is a modern weapon system characterized by high mobility and shooting accuracy. These installations are capable of delivering long-range strikes with minimal preparation time, making them an important component in the modernization of the Armenian army.

The purchase of weapons from France reflects the desire of the Armenian leadership to strengthen the country’s defense capability in the face of regional instability and threats. CAESAR self-propelled guns are equipped with a 155-mm cannon capable of firing at a distance of up to 40 kilometers. The high maneuverability of these installations is ensured due to their base on a wheeled chassis, which allows you to quickly change positions and adapt to changing combat conditions.
