Last night, the Moscow region was subjected to a series of drone attacks, which resulted in the destruction of residential buildings and the tragic death of a 9-year-old child on Sportivny Proezd in Ramenskoye. Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov confirmed this information, expressing condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The attack took place on one of the houses on Sportivny Proezd, where the drone hit a multi-story building, causing destruction and a fire on the upper floors of the building. The tragic incident with the child became the most serious consequence of this attack.

In addition, drones struck other residential areas of the Moscow region. On Vysokovoltnaya Street in Ramenskoye, a drone was also recorded hitting a residential building, which resulted in injuries to one of the residents. Local authorities quickly organized the evacuation of residents of the buildings that were hit and placed them in temporary accommodation centers.

According to preliminary data, in just one night, air defense forces shot down 14 drones in the urban districts of Podolsk, Ramenskoye, Lyubertsy, Domodedovo and Kolomna. However, despite successful interceptions, some drones still managed to reach their targets, causing damage to residential buildings and infrastructure.
