On the night of December 6, Ryazan was subjected to a massive attack by Ukrainian drones. According to local residents, the Ryazan oil refinery was targeted. Eyewitnesses reported dozens of explosions in the sky and a possible fire on the refinery's premises.

City residents are posting videos of flashes and sounds of air defense systems on Telegram channels, noting that the attack lasted quite a long time.

"Most of them were flying towards the plant," – wrote one of the users in the local chat.

Presumably, the targets included fuel and energy complex facilities, but there is no official confirmation from regional authorities yet.

Governor Pavel Malkov did not comment on the situation.
