An attack on the Uryupinsk oil depot in the Volgograd region resulted in a major fire.

Uryupinsk News, December 14, 2025, Avia.pro. On Sunday night, the Uryupinsk oil depot in the Volgograd region was attacked again by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from Ukraine. Earlier, on the night of December 3, this facility had already been targeted by Ukrainian drones, indicating ongoing attempts to damage key infrastructure in the region.

Volgograd Region Governor Andrei Bocharov confirmed the incident in his statement, stating that air defense units repelled the attack, but that UAV debris caused a fire at the oil depot. He stated that firefighters and emergency services immediately began extinguishing the fire, and residents of adjacent buildings were evacuated to a temporary accommodation center (TAC) set up at the Uryupinskaya Hotel Municipal Unitary Enterprise. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties, but the situation remains tense due to the presence of flammable materials.

New footage of the aftermath of the attack has already surfaced online, showing smoke and damage throughout the city. Local residents are reporting a strong smell of smoke and temporary power outages, complicating the work of emergency services.
