The Indian Embassy in Russia called on its citizens to immediately leave the Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions due to the worsening situation in these regions. It is noted that this recommendation is due to the increasing security threat due to ongoing hostilities and frequent shelling of border areas.

Indian authorities strongly recommend that their citizens take all necessary measures to leave these areas as soon as possible and subsequently move to safer regions of the country. If it is not possible to leave immediately, the embassy advises taking maximum precautions.
