According to the analytical material of The Wall Street Journal, the further development of the offensive in the Kursk region will largely depend on what reserves both sides have and how effectively they will be used. In order for Ukraine to maintain the current pace of offensive operations, it will need to deploy additional forces and military equipment. At the same time, Russia, with its superior firepower, can launch quick counterattacks using, among other things, modern glide bombs.

Experts note that the key factor in this confrontation will be the ability of each side to quickly mobilize its reserves and use them on the battlefield.

Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold part of the Kursk region under their control.
