Six hours before the explosions, NATO reconnaissance aircraft were operating at airfields near the Russian border.

Shortly before the attack on the airfield in the Saratov region, NATO reconnaissance aircraft were in the sky. Whether the two current events are related is unknown, however, according to Baza journalists, the attack on the airfield in the Saratov region was carried out using a drone, while a powerful flash, accompanied by a pop, may indicate a fairly large explosion.

On the eve of the same day, literally 6 hours before the incidents, both at the airfield in the Saratov region and at the airfield in the Ryazan region, the activation of NATO aviation flights was recorded in the sky. It is known that both aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles operated, which may well be associated with what happened.

As of 13:15, no official statements were made by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation regarding the information about the attack on the airfield in the Saratov region. As for the explosion at the airfield in the Ryazan region, here, as stated, there was an explosion of a fuel truck.

According to the Base, two aircraft were damaged at the airfield near Saratov, however, their type was not disclosed, but it is specified that at least two people were also hospitalized.
