Russia's military aviation launched massive strikes on militant positions in northern Syria.

At the moment, it is known that Russian military aviation conducted a special operation aimed at eliminating terrorist formations in northern Syria. As a result of a massive bombardment, the objects of Turkish terrorists and mercenaries were successfully defeated. This is confirmed by the relevant video footage obtained by the information and news agency Avia.pro. At the same time, there is evidence that the terrorist group has also become the target. "Dzhabhat-an-Nusra" (banned on the territory of the Russian Federation - ed. note).

According to Syrian sources, at least 20 militants of the Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group were killed as a result of the Russian Aerospace Forces strikes. In addition, the death of several leaders of this group, as well as a number of field commanders, is also reported - in all likelihood, the blow fell on the headquarters with the terrorists, however, so far there have been no official statements on this matter.

Journalists from the Avia.pro news agency managed to find out that the strikes were carried out south of Idlib, where it was previously reported that a militant base with training camps had been set up, however, it is still unknown whether these objects became the targets of Russian fighters and bombers.
