The Russian military destroyed a unit of French self-propelled guns Caesar on the Ukrainian-Romanian border.

The Russian military, taking part in the NMD, successfully destroyed a unit of the French Caesar self-propelled guns in the area of ​​​​the Romanian-Ukrainian border. The latter could carry out strikes on the Zmeiny Island with the help of corrected 155-mm ammunition. Information on this subject is provided by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to data voiced by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Russian military destroyed a unit of French Caesar self-propelled artillery mounts. The latter were deployed on Kubansky Island, located on the border of Ukraine and Romania. As a result of high-precision strikes, 155-mm self-propelled guns were destroyed and no longer pose a danger.

During the briefing of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, video footage was also shown, which, presumably, recorded the moment of the strike of the Russian Aerospace Forces on the positions of the French Caesar self-propelled guns.

With the use of which particular weapons the strike was launched is unknown, however, the fact that the Ukrainian military is specifically deploying its weapons near the Romanian border, thereby making it difficult to deliver an operational strike due to the risks of missiles hitting Romanian territory, causes very serious concern that Kyiv trying to draw NATO into the existing conflict.
