Pobeda Airlines fined 100 thousand rubles by the Federal Antimonopoly Service for unfair advertising

Loukoster "Victory" was fined for unfair advertising.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation obliged the management of the Russian airline Pobeda to pay a fine of 100 thousand rubles for dishonest advertising. The Avia.pro news agency, in turn, clarifies that about six months ago, a resident of Chelyabinsk complained to the FAS about an advertisement for a low-cost airline offering tickets for 999 rubles, although in reality, the cost of tickets was 2-3 times higher - the air carrier did not consider it necessary to indicate in advertisements in distinguishable font size, that the price is indicated without additional fees.

In the near future, the Russian airline intends to challenge such a decision, while experts believe that the court will take the side of the domestic low-cost airline, and there are several main reasons for this, the details of which were not disclosed.

Pobeda Airlines is a Russian low-budget air carrier, which has been operating since the end of last year, and operates air routes on domestic routes on more than two dozen route routes.
