Loucoster "Ryanair" was interested in the purchase of the German airline "Air Berlin".

As it became known to the news agency Avia.pro, the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair announced its readiness to acquire the German airline Air Berlin, which is currently going through bankruptcy proceedings, however, the management of the low-cost air carrier noted that this will be possible only after providing financial statements of the company.

Earlier, the German authorities announced their readiness to sell Air Berlin, but today there are several potential buyers at once, including the carrier Lufthansa, against which the EU antimonopoly authorities are categorically opposed.
