In the Voronezh region, due to the detonation of explosive objects caused by a recent drone attack, traffic was completely blocked on the section of the Voronezh-Lugansk highway from the 51st to the 105th kilometer. The authorities sent all transit traffic towards Novovoronezh, and the situation remains tense due to the ongoing burning of dry vegetation and repeated explosions. A group of forces and means to extinguish the fire and eliminate the consequences of the incident has already been formed.

According to the Governor of the Voronezh Region, the fire is complicated by the fact that the detonation continues, which complicates the work of fire brigades and rescuers. A state of emergency has been declared in three settlements in the region. Several hundred people were evacuated due to the threat to local residents. Most of the evacuees were placed with relatives, and several dozen people were temporarily resettled in temporary accommodation centers (TACs) organized by the authorities.

According to local residents, the incident occurred in the area of ​​the village of Soldatskoye, where a drone attack resulted in the detonation of explosive devices.
