Azerbaijan announces purchase of new missile weapons from Russia

Azerbaijan announced agreements with Russia on the supply of new weapons.

The Azerbaijani authorities intend to purchase from Russia a large consignment of the latest Russian weapons and equipment. The data on this matter were announced personally by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, confirming that Baku is interested in the use of Russian weapons and is actively continuing cooperation with the Russian side in the military-technical sphere.

“We are doing good work in all areas, including military-technical cooperation. Naturally, now we are looking at new developments, now technical groups are exploring new possibilities. We have already submitted some applications, so cooperation in this direction with Russia will also develop ", - said the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in an interview with the National Defense.

So far, there are no details on this score. Experts believe that we are talking about new air defense systems, electronic warfare systems and, probably, operational-tactical missile systems. Such arguments of specialists are based primarily on the fact that it was these weapons that played a key role in the armed conflict in Karabakh last year.

The Russian side has not yet made any official statements on this score. Earlier in social networks, Armenian communities tried to accuse Russia of the fact that the conflict in Karabakh was lost precisely because of the supply of arms to Baku.

The wisdom of such decisions is off scale ...

Pure provocation from a mustachioed cockroach. He thinks that there are fools in Russia. If only weapons are sold to him, then Russia will lose the status of a peacemaker. A cheap trick.

Are you Armenian?

Right. And then what else is there to shoot down the helicopters of Russian peacekeepers if not with Russian air defense systems?

This weapon will be directed against our army.
