Azerbaijan convicted of using banned phosphorus munitions against Armenia

Azerbaijan used prohibited phosphorus munitions in the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.

One of the reasons for the massive losses of the Armenian military in the 44-day Karabakh war was the use of prohibited weapons by the Azerbaijani army. Thus, according to the information obtained by the news agency Avia.pro, Azerbaijani troops have repeatedly used prohibited phosphorus munitions against military personnel and local residents on the territory of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. This is what caused large-scale fires in the region and led to the loss of a large amount of equipment and the destruction of weapons.

On the presented video frames it is fashionable to see one of the facts of the use of phosphorus ammunition by the Azerbaijani military. This video is irrefutable proof that we are not talking about the use of conventional lighting ammunition, but precisely phosphorus weapons are used.

The Azerbaijani side does not officially comment on the accusations against itself. The use of prohibited weapons may be interested in the UN. This may well result in very serious problems for Baku, not to mention the probable investigation of this in European countries and the United States.
