Azerbaijan destroyed the S-300 complex with a kamikaze drone

Azerbaijan became the first country in the world to destroy the S-300 complex.

As a result of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the servicemen of the latter state were able to destroy the air defense complex of the Armenian Armed Forces S-300. An unmanned aerial vehicle was used for the attack, which undermined the positions of the Armenian S-300 air defense systems - according to preliminary data, the early warning radar and one of the launchers that was in the immediate vicinity were destroyed.

“Azerbaijani media report that a kamikaze UAV destroyed one of the S-300 air defense systems of Armenia, which was located near the city of Goris on the border with Nagorno-Karabakh and“ covered the sky ”. They claim that the airspace of Nagorno-Karabakh is now "completely cleaned up" for the Azerbaijani Air Force. But this is a very controversial statement. As of 2017, the air defense of Armenia had 5 S-300V / S-300PS divisions, 12 launchers in each. At the same time, the Azerbaijani military department published several videos, which really demonstrate the destruction of a large number of Armenian armored vehicles and even a large ammunition depot with the help of UAVs. But there is no S-300, although the Osa air defense system is present ", - about it сообщает Russian information publication "Reporter" with reference to the Azerbaijani media.

At the moment, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia has not confirmed such information, however, in a few tens of kilometers from the border with Azerbaijan, S-300 complexes were actually seen earlier, and the Azerbaijani army has drones capable of attacking ground targets at such distances, which does not exclude the possibility the fact that one of the positional areas of the air defense of Armenia with S-300 weapons was indeed attacked, and the complexes were destroyed.

How so? Such inaction or inept actions of the Armenians discredit our weapons in the world!
