Azerbaijan attacked Russian military aircraft in Armenia.
Azerbaijani missiles were fired at Russian military aircraft and helicopters near the Armenian capital. The missiles were intercepted a few moments before the strike on the territory of the airfield, where, according to some information, there may be Russian military aircraft (military transport Il-76 arrived a few days ago) and helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
The shots of the missile strike were initially perceived as an attempt by the Azerbaijani military to strike at the Armenian nuclear power plant, however, given that the Tochka-U missiles have a limited range, they would only be enough to strike at Yerevan, and the most significant the target is the airport where the planes and helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces are located.
It is reported that the S-300 systems were used to intercept tactical missiles, which received their first combat use since development - two missiles were intercepted over the city of Abovyan.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has not yet commented on the missile strike on Yerevan and the Russian Aerospace Forces, however, the situation may become very serious if it turns out that Baku has created a threat to Russian servicemen and Russian military equipment.
