Bangladesh did not trust the repair of MiG-29 fighters in Russia.

According to a number of information publications, Bangladesh, which has several MiG-29 fighters in its arsenal, for unknown reasons did not trust Russian manufacturers to repair these combat aircraft, turning to Belarus for similar services. The exact reason for this is unknown, however, several repaired aircraft have already been delivered to the operator.

Judging by the photographs presented in the public domain, we are talking about MiG-29B / UB fighters, while in Belarus itself no information has yet been commented on the repair of Bangladeshi combat aircraft.

It should be clarified that this is far from the only case when other countries ask for the repair of their fighters, and most often we are talking about Soviet aircraft, to Belarus, however, experts believe that this may be due to the cost of repair work, in connection with which, there is an assumption that in the near future Belarus may compete with Russia in the repair of foreign military aircraft.
