The President of the United States refused to supply F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.

US President Joe Biden told reporters that Ukraine will not receive American F-16 fighters. Biden did not explain the reasons for refusing to supply these combat aircraft to Ukraine, however, quite clearly and without hesitation, he answered that these aircraft would not be sent to Ukraine.

Answering questions from American journalists about whether Biden will supply F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, the American leader answered in the negative. This may be due to the fact that the United States intends to continue discreet support for Ukraine with weapons and does not want to go into a sharp escalation with Russia, since the situation between the two countries is extremely tense at the moment.

A final and official statement from the United States on this matter should be expected in mid-February, when the next Ramstein meeting will take place, where countries such as the Netherlands, Poland and France previously announced their consent to the supply of fighter jets to Ukraine. Moreover, in the case of Paris, we should expect the delivery of the largest batch of combat aircraft to Ukraine, however, in this case we can talk about Dassault Rafale fighters.
