Baykar Makina to supply Ukraine with dozens of Bayraktar TB2 attack drones

Turkey will give Ukraine several dozen more Bayraktar TB2 strike drones.

The Turkish company Baykar Makina will put into service with Kyiv several dozen more Bayraktar TB2 strike drones, which were ordered by the Ukrainian side. The exact number of drones is not disclosed, however, we can talk about a large batch, consisting of 24-36 attack drones. At the moment, only the head of the Ukrainian defense department, Aleksey Reznikov, officially announced this, however, information confirming such information also appeared on a number of Turkish resources, although official Ankara does not give any comments on this matter.

“In the short term, almost all the capacities of the Baykar Makina plant will be focused on meeting the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has ordered dozens more drones"- said Alexey Reznikov.

It is noteworthy that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine for the first time revealed the real scale of the Bayraktar TB2 drones delivered to Ukraine: according to Reznikov, in addition to the 36 attack drones that were in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine on February 24, Turkey handed over to Kyiv about 50 more drones (according to some data, 48 drones were purchased by the Ukrainian side, and two more drones were donated by a Turkish company - ed.).

Earlier, Russia has repeatedly noted that it does not accept the supply of Turkish attack drones to Ukraine, however, Turkey tried to ignore Russian demands.
