Lukashenko does not want to build a military base in Belarus.

Information about the Belarusian president announced during a press conference held on the eve of the day, and, as emphasized by the president himself, he is not against the strengthening of borders and most of Belarus and the Union State, but according to his own opinion, would be the most efficient transfer of Russian military aircraft, maintenance and operation of which will occupy the Belarusian pilots.

It should be clarified that no official comment on the statement of Alexander Lukashenko yet from the Russian Federation authorities have been received, however, it is likely to make an offer is still considered, as it satisfies the basic requirements to improve the defense capabilities western borders.
