Belgium announced the transfer of another 30 F-16 fighters to Ukraine

Belgium plans to supply Ukraine with 30 F-16 fighter jets by 2028, reports the Belgian Foreign Ministry. The first aircraft will arrive this year, but the exact number of the first batch has not been specified.

The West expects that the supply of F-16s, one of the most modern and versatile fighters in the world, will significantly strengthen Ukraine's air force. However, Russian experts believe that due to the lack of qualified pilots, this will not give Kyiv any advantages.

Taking into account the announced delivery batch of fighters, Ukraine will receive in the future more than a hundred combat aircraft of this type, while some of them will be equipped with relatively modern weapons. This includes AMRAAM long-range missiles.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium noted that this decision was made within the framework of international support for Ukraine.
