Belarus will not operate flights to Crimea due to the threat of Western sanctions

In Belarus, they said they would not launch flights to Crimea due to Western sanctions.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, said that the key problem of launching flights of Belarusian air carriers to Crimea is the likely introduction of Western sanctions. Moreover, according to Makei, at the moment it is still unknown whether such flights will become cost-effective.

“We have to look at the economy. If it is beneficial, let's say, for society, for the country, for the state, then, I think, an appropriate decision will be made. But in this situation, we must take into account some other aspects related to possible sanctions that may be imposed in relation to Belarus "- said the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Belarus is interested in such flights. However, apparently, until the recognition of Crimea by other countries, flights in this direction will not be carried out.

It should be noted that after European countries closed their airspace for Belarusian air carriers, Belavia switched to operating more flights to Russia and the CIS.

Agree with you.

The European Union has banned Belarusian airlines from flying over its territory.
And comrade Makei declares about the possible disadvantage of flying to Crimea))
And the fact that no one will remove the sanctions from them until they fall under the "values" of the EU and Russia does not need flights to Crimea from Belarus - THIS IS A BUSINESS OF THE ALLY'S PRINCIPLE AND SOLIDARITY, V. Makei does not take into account, like others probably .. ...
But we can't scold and get angry at the Belarusians, it's just their choice to treat us this way and ours to draw conclusions.

Is it called ALLY?
For how many "silversmiths" can you collect / sell UNION?
If only they were silent, they would seem smarter.

Maybe then it is time for Russia to present, like Ukraine, to the Kazakhs about the return of the land to the Russian Empire?
