Video footage appeared on the Web showing powerful pops and flashes on Snake Island. Judging by the presented video frames, the latter were taken from the Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicle, as evidenced by the corresponding interface of the drone's optical system.

Judging by the quality of the image and the remoteness of the island, the video footage was probably taken from a distance of about 70-80 kilometers. At the same time, it is not possible to establish the nature of what happened on the video, while detailed satellite images are not available at the current moment.

On the presented video frames, you can see that flashes and pops are observed in the central part of the island. At the same time, the absence of the tower of the previously destroyed wind turbine testifies in favor of the fact that the video frames are relatively new. Given the location of objects on the island, it is logical to assume that flashes are observed in the area of ​​​​the former lighthouse, however, the lack of clarity on the video does not allow us to draw any conclusion about the nature and causes of the latter.

Given the location of the drone at a distance of 70-80 kilometers, it can be rightly argued that the drone is not related to what is happening on the island, since the latter carries weapons capable of hitting targets at a maximum distance of 16 kilometers.
