8 July. In the sky over New York, two drones almost collided with a helicopter.

As noted by a number of media, the disaster over the city was barely avoided - the pilot of the helicopter was able to gain altitude at the last moment, which prevented the threat of direct collision. It should be recalled that the US authorities have already recognized the use of unmanned aerial vehicles as a threat to other air transport, and in the near future intend to introduce a special bill that should regulate the flights of these vehicles.

Upon the incident, two suspects in the dangerous use of unmanned aerial vehicles have already been detained, but the fact that these two citizens piloted aircraft has not been proven.
