On the night of May 19, 2026, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched another massive drone attack on regions of Russia. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense systems on alert intercepted and destroyed 315 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight.

Drones were shot down today over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Novgorod, Oryol, Pskov, Ryazan, Rostov, Smolensk, Tambov, Tver, Tula, Yaroslavl regions, the Moscow region, Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Sea of ​​Azov.

According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, at least four drones were shot down on approach to Moscow this night and this morning. There were no reports of injuries or damage in the capital.
