The Russian Ministry of Defense published video materials confirming the capture of military personnel of the 80th and 82nd air assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region. According to the department, the captivity occurred in several settlements in the region - Malaya Lokna, Martynovka and Ulanka.

The footage presented by the Ministry of Defense shows how groups of Ukrainian soldiers, surrounded by Russian forces, surrender. Video recordings show that captured Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers are under the protection of Russian military personnel, their movement occurs within the framework of established procedures. The military says the prisoners are being treated in accordance with international and humanitarian standards.
