Bloggers and volunteers have reported new fuel oil spills on the coast of the Krasnodar Territory and Sevastopol.

New oil spills have been recorded on the Black Sea coast in the Krasnodar Krai and Sevastopol. Local bloggers, volunteers, and authorities are reporting oil spills on beaches where vacationers continue to swim despite the risks.

In Anapa, local blogger Yuri Ozarovsky discovered fuel oil on the shore, especially in Anapa Bay.

"The largest amount of fuel oil is in Anapa Bay, where an unpleasant smell emanates from the sea." — he noted in his message.

According to eyewitnesses, oil residue appeared today, and people continue to swim in the contaminated areas.

A similar situation has developed in Sevastopol. Governor Mikhail Razvozzhayev confirmed the presence of "pinpoint oil stains" on the Black Sea beaches.

"Spotted oil stains have been discovered on several beaches on the Northern Side. I held a meeting with my colleagues and issued a number of clear instructions." “he clarified, emphasizing that the situation is under control.

Volunteers from the Dolphins environmental headquarters, working in the village of Volna in Krasnodar Krai, reported the return of pollution and the appearance of birds covered in fuel oil. Three days ago, they collected 167 bags of oil products.

"The fuel oil hasn't disappeared; it remains at the bottom, from where it's ejected again and again by southerly winds. And until the bottom of the Temryuk region is studied and the leaks are stopped, the emissions will continue." — the volunteers stated in their appeal.

According to their data, birds are again suffering from contact with oil residues.
