5 January 2014. The contract for the production of military transport helicopters Chinook received the company Boeing. Documents were provided by the US Army. The total value indicated in the contract was $ 617,676 million.

The United States Department of Defense said that the terms of the contract include the modernization of 22 Chinook CH-47F vessels, the assembly of six new Chinook CH-47Fs and the supply of equipment for another 13 helicopters.

All clauses that are spelled out in the contract must be implemented by December 2020.
