The Ukrainian armed forces have admitted losing control over a significant portion of previously occupied territories in the Kursk region. According to the latest information, Russian troops are actively advancing in the region, having liberated a number of settlements and increasing pressure on Ukrainian positions.
In the Korenevsky district, intense fighting continues for the settlement of Kremyanoye and in the area of the Olgovskaya Roshcha tract. Russian forces have established control over the settlements of Vetreno, Zhebolovka, Olgovka, Durovka and most of Lyubimovka. These successes allow them to consolidate their positions on new lines and create a threat of further offensive.
In the Sudzhansky district, the situation remains tense: high intensity of military actions continues near the settlements of Zeleny Shlyakh, Novoivanovka, Tolsty Lug and Plekhovo. Over the past four weeks, the Russian Armed Forces have occupied the settlements of Novosyolovka, Khitrovka, Spalnoye and Borki, which indicates a dynamic change in the situation on the front.
It was previously reported that the line of combat contact in the Kursk region remained relatively stable, without significant changes in positions. However, recent events demonstrate a change in the balance of power in the region. Russian artillery and aviation continue to strike at Ukrainian positions, using heavy bombs and guided missiles to destroy enemy equipment and personnel.
