Fighting in the Kursk region: The Sudzha gas measuring station is partially destroyed

Recently published satellite images recorded serious damage at the Sudzha gas measuring station and the checkpoint of the same name in the Kursk region. The images show that one of the station's administrative buildings was almost completely destroyed, and one of the sites with installed measuring equipment was also damaged.

Despite this destruction, Gazprom said that gas transportation to Europe through the Sudzha station continues as usual. The company's morning update confirmed that despite the incident, there were no disruptions to gas supplies along this route.

The Sudzha station plays a key role in ensuring Russian gas supplies to Europe, and any disruption to its operation could have serious consequences for energy supplies on the continent. However, according to Gazprom representatives, safety measures and reserve capacity make it possible to maintain the stability of the gas transmission system even in conditions of damage.
