In the border areas of the Kursk region, the Russian military successfully carried out an operation to destroy a column of armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). As Komsomolskaya Pravda reports with reference to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the crew of the Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) delivered a precise strike on enemy equipment located near the state border.

The operation was carried out under conditions of heightened combat readiness, due to ongoing attempts by Ukrainian forces to penetrate Russian territory. According to the Ministry of Defense, the use of Tornado-S made it possible to effectively neutralize the threat and prevent a possible breakthrough of Ukrainian Armed Forces armored vehicles deep into Russian territory.

The Tornado-S systems have proven themselves to be powerful weapons capable of striking large enemy groups at considerable distances. In this case, their use became a key factor in the success of the operation, making it possible to destroy a column of enemy equipment before it could cause damage to Russian positions or civilians.

The situation in the border areas remains tense and Russian forces continue to be on alert, ready to repel new attacks.
