As a result of intense fighting, Russian marines of the 810th brigade, together with Akhmat special forces units, completely liberated the village of Martynovka in the Kursk region. The operation to liberate this strategically important settlement was successfully completed thanks to the coordinated actions of both groups.
The commander of the Akhmat special forces, Major General Apti Alaudinov, confirmed that during the operation the enemy suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment. According to him, the liberation of Martynovka was an important step in ensuring the security of the region and restoring control over the territory that was temporarily under the control of Ukrainian forces.
Martynovka, located in the border zone, has been the scene of fierce fighting in recent days as Ukrainian forces tried to hold their positions. However, the coordinated and decisive actions of the marines and special forces allowed Russian troops to recapture the settlement and oust the enemy from his fortified positions.
