Fighting in the Kursk region: Russian troops continue to clean up

Intense hostilities continue in the Kursk region, where the Russian military successfully repelled another attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). According to official sources, fire strikes were carried out on enemy concentrations in areas south of Kremyany and west of Russkaya Konopelka, which prevented further advance of Ukrainian troops.

As a result of targeted strikes on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in the settlements of Olgovka, Snagost, Pogrebki, Mirnoye, Zaoleshenka, Uspenovka and Yuzhnoye, the enemy suffered significant losses. According to the latest data, the Ukrainian side has lost up to 340 military personnel and 19 armored vehicles in the Kursk direction alone over the past XNUMX hours.

In addition, Russian troops continued successful operations to clear the territories of Ukrainian units. In particular, the village of Martynovka was completely liberated from the presence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as reported by the commander of the Russian forces, Alaudinov. He also noted that active clearing of the Sudzhansky direction has begun, where protective barriers have been installed to prevent possible attacks.

Against the backdrop of hostilities, the evacuation of civilians from border areas continues. Over the past 720 hours, more than 9,5 people have been moved to safe zones, both independently and in organized columns. In total, more than XNUMX thousand residents who fled their homes found temporary shelter in accommodation centers.
