During the fighting in the Kursk region, fighters of the Russian group "North" successfully repelled an attack by the enemy, who attempted to advance in six armored combat vehicles (AFVs) with the support of the T-64BV tank.

According to the information received, as a result of a precise strike, the T-64BV tank lost the ability to move and caught fire. Soon after this, the ammunition detonated, which led to the complete destruction of the heavy combat vehicle.

Sources claim that the Ukrainian military managed to leave the tank before it exploded, avoiding casualties among the crew. However, the very fact of the destruction of the tank is important in the context of ongoing hostilities.
