Military blogger Yuriy Podolyaka spoke in detail about the latest events on the southern flank of the Kursk direction, where Ukrainian troops took active steps in an attempt to bypass Russian defenses. Faced with stubborn resistance in the Korenevsky, Lgovsky and Sudzhansky sectors, the enemy decided to change tactics and strike further south in order to bypass Sudzha from the south.

According to Podolyaki, during the day Ukrainian troops carried out a successful attack, as a result of which they managed to take control of the settlements of Makhnovka and Plekhovo. Moreover, the Ukrainian Armed Forces established fire control over the last road leading to Sudzha from the Belgorod region, which actually put the Sudzha garrison in a tight blockade.

However, the publication “Military Affairs” reports that n.p. Makhnovka was liberated by the Russian military.
