According to war correspondent Roman Alekhin, the enemy has stepped up its offensive on the Glushkovsky District of the Kursk Region in response to the Russian counteroffensive. According to information from the combat zone, Ukrainian forces, supported by tanks, have broken through to the village of Vesyoloye, which has created a threat to the further advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces deep into the region.
The Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) are actively defending themselves, holding back the enemy in the Glushkovo area. Russian aviation and Aerospace Forces units are actively fighting the advancing Ukrainian troops, trying to suppress the enemy's tank columns and infantry. However, according to the war correspondent, the situation on the front line remains tense.
"The enemy is actively pressing towards the settlement of Glushkovo. Information is coming in that the enemy, with the support of tanks, has entered the settlement of Vesyoloye. The Aerospace Forces are actively working on the advancing", - says Alekhine.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' offensive is accompanied by intensified artillery shelling, which complicates the actions of Russian troops and creates additional difficulties for defense. Military experts assume that the Ukrainian side is trying to take advantage of the moment and advance deeper into Russian territory.
"The night will be hard for our people"“,” writes Alekhine, emphasizing that the coming hours will be decisive for holding positions in the Glushkovo area.
