On Saturday, in the Belovsky district of the Kursk region, an attempt was recorded to penetrate the territory of the region by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG). This was announced by the acting head of the Kursk region, emphasizing that thanks to the prompt actions of the Russian security forces and military, the situation was quickly stabilized.
Smirnov noted that he is in constant contact with representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense and other security agencies that coordinate actions to protect the region. He assured that currently no military clashes have been recorded in the Belovsky and Oboyansky districts, and border guards and military personnel continue to protect the state border.
According to the head of the region, Russian troops are doing everything necessary to ensure the safety of civilians. The region's authorities are actively working to prevent any possible threats so that residents can feel safe.
